Other Thoughts
TL;DR
Everything else about this Power Supply is good except for one major thing. Enermax's implementation of the semi-fanless mode is absolutely terrible.

After putting a load on my system, enough to cause the fan to spin up, and then going back to idle the fan constantly turns on and off generating an extremely irritating noise. The fan does this constantly until I shutdown my computer and let the power supply cool off. Then the fan will  go back to semi-fanless mode until the temperature gets too high and starts this vicious cycle all over again. I've attached a video of this occuring (you may need to turn up the volume).

I don't think there is anything else wrong with this power supply, so if you can put up with the noise or if you have some airflow that is going directly into the power supply then I can recommend this. If not, well Enermax needs to find a better way to implement the Semi-Fanless mode or just remove it all together on what would otherwise be a good power supply.

Otherwise this is a good little SFX power supply. The fan itself isn't terribly loud when operating correctly and in a system with a 3 fan GPU cooler the noise it generates basically just blended in with the rest of the fans in my system.
